Q: How does CarePartner work? 

A: We can help you solve the unique challenges caregiving for your parents or other members of your family not covered under an Specialized health plan. We offer telephone-based patient advocacy with an expert team of nurses, care coordinators, social workers and problem solvers who work for you and your family. 

Q: How can CarePartner help me? 

A: Being a caregiver can feel like a full-time job. It can be extremely stressful and draining both financially and emotionally. When you use CarePartner, you get a team of expert patient advocates to assist you in resolving healthcare problems, listen to your concerns and help guide you on this journey. CarePartner is here to help save you time, reduce stress and provide you with peace of mind. 

Q: Is CarePartner a nurse line?

A: No. CarePartner is not a medical service and does not provide medical care. However, our staff includes nurses and other credentialed and knowledgeable staff to help you understand and manage your loved ones’ health conditions, understand Medicare benefits and services, resolve billing and claim disputes, mediate family discussions and provide expertise and guidance around most health care and caregiving issues.  

Q: How much does CarePartner cost? 

A: CarePartner is a voluntary-benefit and costs $12 per member per month. 

Q: Who can use CarePartner? 

A: CarePartner is available to all Specialized teammates, who are benefits eligible, to help them care for their family members not covered by an Specialized health plan.

Q: How do I sign up?

A: The CarePartners can be reached Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET. You can always leave a detailed, confidential message via chat, voicemail or email. We will look into your issue and get back to you promptly.
